Terms and licensing
These practical terms describe the current WorkLedger trial and device-licensing model.
Trial and activation
A valid first registration starts a server-controlled 15-day trial. Reinstallation or repeated registration does not restart or extend it. Full activation is subject to manual approval by e-Sahayi.
Device authorization
The initial license is intended for one authorized Android device. e-Sahayi may deactivate or reactivate a license and may transfer it to a replacement device after appropriate verification. Automated or self-service transfer is not currently offered. License status is determined by the licensing server.
Acceptable use
Do not bypass licensing controls, misuse registration services, share device authorization secrets, interfere with service operation, or use WorkLedger unlawfully.
Your records and backups
Operational records are stored locally. You are responsible for accurate entry, device protection, and regular usable backups. WorkLedger does not currently provide cloud synchronization of worker, site, payroll, or site-finance data.
Updates and service availability
Some versions may become unsupported or require an update for security or compatibility. Maintenance periods and version requirements may temporarily affect licensing checks. Support is provided through the channels and scope published by e-Sahayi and cannot guarantee recovery of local data.
Changes
If cloud sync, payment services, subscriptions, or materially different processing are introduced later, the applicable product information, privacy notice, and terms should be updated before launch.
