Privacy notice
WorkLedger is offline-first. Operational contractor records are stored locally on your device, not synchronized to the WorkLedger licensing server.
Information kept locally
Workers, sites, attendance, overtime, advances, wage calculations, wage payments, receipts, expenses, categories, and operational reports remain in the application’s local storage and backups you create.
Information sent for licensing
Registration may send your name, mobile number, optional email, optional business name and location, a hashed device identifier, device name, platform, application code, package identifier, and application version. The server also records licensing events and may process IP address, user-agent, and timing metadata for security and diagnostics.
Why this information is used
e-Sahayi uses this limited metadata to establish the trial, process manual activation, check license status, manage authorized devices, provide version information, prevent abuse, and investigate support or security issues.
Backups and device security
You are responsible for protecting the device, MPIN, biometric access, and backup copies. Because business records are not cloud-synchronized, e-Sahayi cannot restore local operational data that is lost without a usable backup.
Retention and support
Registration, licensing, administrative audit, and security records may be retained while needed to operate and protect the licensing service and address support history. Retention procedures should be reviewed before production launch. Support contact channels will be published in the support center.
This practical notice reflects the current technical design. Final legal and retention review is required before production publication.
